Gweneviere and Yasir are such a fun couple, and they had a super fun wedding at Antebellum Oaks. We actually did not have the pleasure of meeting them until the wedding day as they planned the whole thing from out of town. Relying on recommendations from friends in the Austin area, they connected with all their vendors by email and over the phone. We were grateful to have been referred to them by Yasir’s friend, April, who is a phenomenal makeup artist with whom we love working with. They had friends from the West and East Coasts that they were uniting here in Austin. Really the best part of the wedding was how much Gweneviere and Yasir were loved by all their friends. It made me so happy to see them all so happy together! Their very good friend, Elaine, not only officiated the lovely ceremony under the oak trees and twinkly lights, but she and the rest of the wedding party sang and swayed as the absolutely joyous Gweneviere walked down the aisle with her dad. Dagar’s Catering had food stations all over the reception pavilion with the most fabulous custom omelette station in one corner while the Cupcake Bar made custom cupcakes for all the guests. Then everybody got down to partying with Shakedown, and as you can see from the pictures, they had quite the time doing it! Stayed tuned for some fabulous shots from Gweneviere’s and Yasir after shoot that we did the next day.

Emily is one awesome, adventurous bride! But don’t take my word for it. Check out the “let’s jump off a cliff together” engagement session we did with her and the very lucky Travis. After that crazy, fun experience, we knew her bridals were going to be a blast. They were a bit more conventional but amazing none the less. She chose to do them at her wedding venue, the gorgeous Nature’s Point, which has so many beautiful photo backdrops from which to choose. Emily brought along a royal purple chair and an adorable bench that has been in her family for ages which both worked as wonderful photo props . Thanks to her lovely mom, Karen, for being such a trooper and assisting us during the entire shoot. A special shout out goes to A Hint of Shimmer and Monroe Hair Studio for making Emily shine!
