Amy and Joey: Vintage Carnival wedding pictures at Texas Old Town!
What a whimsical and unique wedding Amy and Joey had! They had booked us after finding us through their venue, Texas Old Town. When Amy called to plan where to take their engagement portraits, she told me she had decided on a theme for the wedding: vintage carnival! I think I shrieked with delight! With such an awesome wedding theme, their engagement session had to be at a real carnival. We had so much fun shooting their engagement portraits at the Burnet Bluebonnet Festival and couldn’t wait for the wedding.
Amy was such a beautiful bride and was absolutely glowing the entire day. After the romantic, night time ceremony, the happy couple and all their guests enjoyed bar-b-que and all the reception festivities. The details at the wedding were incredible: carousel horses, colorful parasols, handmade bouquets, birdcage veil, gumball machines, popcorn, personalized yo-yos. I could go on and on, but you’d probably rather look at the gorgeous pictures!

Kristin and Brandon found us through their wedding venue, Texas Old Town. We are on their preferred vendors list and LOVE working out there! Brandon was a marketing major and asked us to justify why we were more expensive then the other photographers that they were meeting with. I guess we did a good job because they hired us without even meeting with the last photograph on their list!
They wanted something fun and laid back for their engagements, so we went out to the Capitol grounds in downtown Austin. They are such an adorable couple!
