Amanda and Andy are getting married at Saint Mary Cathedral. They found us through their wedding reception venue, the Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs Headquarters mansion, which we think is one of the most beautiful places to have a wedding in Austin. For their engagement portrait session, they decided to go to the Texas State Capitol grounds in the heart of downtown Austin. The Capitol grounds really are a great location for engagement portraits with beautifully maintained grounds and unique architecture, not to mention easy parking most of the time. Since we weren’t going to a second location, Amanda and Andy had time for three outfits in their engagement session. We stayed a bit after dark to get these fabulous and dramatic night time shots at the end of our session. We look forward to their wedding next June!
After such a great engagement session where we really got to know Jenna and Josh and Jenna’s gorgeous bridal portrait at Dunvegan Keep, we were really looking forward to their wedding in Bastrop. Jenna chose a bright and fresh palette of pink and light turquoise which was perfect for a summer wedding. Renee of On Location Hair & Makeup did a fabulous job with her hair and makeup just like at Jenna’s bridal portrait. The touching ceremony took place at the historic Bastrop Christian Church in the heart of Bastrop. We had a blast with the wedding party getting these fun shots in front of the church. Don’t you love this exquisite, blinged out cake that was made by Memory Makers Cakes? After the perfect bar-b-que meal from Circle G Catering and libations from We Tend Bar, Jenna and Josh danced their first dance as husband and wife surrounded by their family and friends. Then everybody had way too much fun dancing to the tunes of Austin DJ Service. We wish Jenna and Josh a lifetime of happiness together!
