Carrie and Shaun got married on a beautiful October day at Nature’s Point on Lake Travis. This is the first wedding I’ve shot on the deck over looking the lake at Nature’s Point though we’ve shot there many time near their arbor or inside during the hot months. Every time I return to Nature’s point something is new and better. They truly seem to want to make their event center one of the best in Austin!
The father of the bride not only walked he bride down the isle but also acted as the officiant. Being big UT fans the groom, groomsman and his father both touted burnt orange vests and ties. The grooms cake was a fantastic UT tower made by Torte Bella, a fine Austin bakery.
After the ceremony the couple and their guests enjoyed Dagar’s Catering’s great fajitas before dancing the night away to the sounds of the grooms’ friend James, a club DJ in Austin who played groovy music most of the night. I think the best way to describe the music would be, ‘music to look cool to.’ Awesome and fun!

This was Megan and Eric’s first time in front of my camera and they did great for their engagement pictures at the Long Center and the Texas Capital. Megan’s last name is Fox but she isn’t that awful ‘actress’ from the Transformers. This Megan Fox actually doesn’t look evil like the actress Megan Fox. This Megan Fox seems to be friendly and happy. Her and Eric were great together for the pictures! I’m looking forward to their wedding in June!
