Senior! Justin’s fabulous senior portraits in Austin!

Justin is graduating from high school this June. He wanted to commemorate this momentous occasion with some fabulous senior portraits. We started Justin’s senior portraits with a studio session before we headed out to the Capitol Grounds and the 360 bridge overlook. He was really good natured and had a great sense of style. Senior! Logan’s senior portraits in Georgetown, TX!

Logan is graduating from Georgetown High School this year. We took some great pictures out at his family’s home in Georgetown. Take a look at that 79 International Scout. It’s his dad’s old hunting truck. His mom tells me they have a picture of her pregnant with Logan in that truck! They are so proud of Logan and all that he has accomplished. Congratulations, Logan!

Austin Senior Potraits: Micaela!

Micaela is such a beautiful girl, inside and out. I really enjoyed getting to know her and her mom, Amber. Our lovely and talented stylist, Sandy, did a fantastic job on her hair and makeup accentuating her natural beauty just perfectly. We had so much fun shooting her senior portraits in the studio and down in SOCO and at the Capitol.

Senior Portraits in Austin: Alyssa!

Alyssa is the very talented daughter of our very talented hair and makeup artist, Thelma. Not only is she an incredible dancer, she was homecoming queen of Pflugerville High School. We knew her senior portraits were going to be off the hook! Are you digging the zebra print leg warmers as much as I am? We wish her the best as she heads off the UTSA in the fall!

Senior Portraits: Marlee at the Pennybacker Bridge!

Marlee came to us from Lampasas for her senior pictures today. As soon as I got off the phone from booking her I looked up Lampasas to find out where it was. What a drive! Marlee had her hair and make-up done at the studio by Thelma SiFuentes, our resident make-up artist then we shot her at the studio and at the Pennybacker Bridge. Her session was one of the more creative one’s I’ve been honored to do lately especially the picture in the middle of the street.

Senior Portraits! Morgan at the studio, downtown and at the stable

Morgan came a long way for her senior pictures! All the way from Cincinnati, Ohio she came to visit family in Austin. While she was here she wanted senior pictures that were new and different from what every one else was getting in Columbus so she came to me. She oozed personality and was a lot fun and great to shoot. Awesome pictures!

Oddly I was doing work in Oregon for a couple of months and actually flew back for Morgan and a couple of other gigs so I actually came from further away than Morgan for her shoot in Austin. HA!

Austin Senior Portrait: Haley at the Texas Capitol and the studio!

Along with my trusty sidekick , Megan, I shot Haley’s senior portraits at the Texas Capitol and at the studio! Haley and Megan knew each other from high school and had quite a dialog going on about dance at Cedar Park High School. It was like they were speaking another language. I suppose I am pretty out of touch with dance having two left feet and a big part of my brain that just can not understand rhythmic movement but they seemed to have a lot to say. Wow! Haley’s pictures were great. I think I want to photograph more people in dance!

Senior! Mayra’s senior portraits downtown Austin and in the field!

Mayra was awesome! She took advantage of having our make-up and hair artist, Thelma, make her beautiful for her shoot. Boy was it humid that day. We drove to downtown and shot a bunch of fun stuff. Then back to the studio to grab the couch and out to a field of flowers for some wild shots with a dress that she was wearing to the prom which was a masquerade ball. Gosh, I wish my prom had been that cool. Then back to the studio for a little air conditioned studio session. I loved the shots in the field.

Senior! Katie at the Texas State Capitol and the studio!

Katie’s mom contacted me through my blog chat thingy which has proven very useful for those curious about what I do and bewildered at how much time I obsess in front of my computer and online. And so we set up a session at the Capitol and had a great deal of fun! Then we went up to the studio to shoot some cool shots of dress that was awesome! Senior portraits are always so much fun here in Austin!

Senior! Celeste at the Texas Capital!

Celeste had her hair and make-up done by Thelma at the studio today which was awesome! Celeste looked great and we left to the Texas Capitol as quick as we could then down to the Amtrak station where we shot on the railroad tracks. We shot some great pictures at both places and I had an interesting senior experience shooting on the railroad tracks. As I sit on one of the rails shooting I felt a weird vibration and turned around to find a train coming up behind me. Wow! What stress! I kept shooting for a minute long then got out of the way. Celeste’s senior pictures turned out awesome!
