The First Ever Progressive Round Robin Wedding Tour is being held Sunday, August 22nd, 2010 and we are looking for 25 couples to get married or renew your vows or celebrate anniversaries!

25 couples, 100 Austin and surrounding area vendors and 15 venues

What: 5 couples will be getting married AT THE SAME TIME in North region of the Austin and surrounding areas, at the same time 5 couples will be getting married in South region at the same time 5 couples will be getting married in the East Region, at the same time 5 couples will be getting married in the Central region at the same time 5 more couples will be getting married at another North region!

What you get: To enjoy your ceremony at the first location with up to 20 guests, then be escorted to the 2nd location to enjoy your cake cutting, toasts and light appetizers, and the escorted to the 3rd and final location for your dancing, bouquet & garter toss, and getaway!

You will receive a floral bouquet and boutonniere from a premiere florist, champagne toast, upscale caterer to serve light appetizers, 3 top notch venues, (your choice of region), a coordinator, a personal elite photographer, premiere wedding cake, videographer, d.j. and officiant!

Best of all?  100% of your $500.00 entrance fee is donated to one of 5 local charities!

Charities: Soldiers Angels, Truth Be Told, Keri’s Fairy Godmother Foundation, The Smile Never Fades and Hotels for Hope.

North region # 1: Angel Springs, Chateau on the Creek, Arbor Pointe

North region # 2: Kindred Oaks, Bella Notte and Fountain Glenn

East region: Villa St. Clair, Plantation House and McMurtrie Farms

South region: Texas Old Town, Memory Lane and Inn at Wild Rose Hall

Central region: Palm Door, Allan House and Chateau Bellevue

Kindred Oaks was certainly aglow this Saturday.  Have you ever seen a happier, giddier couple than Megan and Eric?  We found out during the toasts that Eric has been in love with Megan for just about forever.  She made him the happiest guy in the world when she finally said “I do!”  All the ladies’ makeup was expertly done by Maris Malone Calderon, and the amazing vintage updos were by Katie at Mantis Salon.  Zuzu’s Petals rocked the flowers while Donna Aleman of Ame Soeur Events kept everything running smoothly.  Michelle’s Patisserie made a very sleek, modern cake, and everyone dug the fajitas by Catering by Mopsie.  Don’t you just love all the peacock flowers and sparkly heart?

Ashley was referred to us by the lovely Sunni Graham of Puerta Bella Events.  She and Jordan had a truly beautiful wedding with every detail attended to by Sunni.  The ceremony was at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Kyle, and the reception was at Texas Old Town.  After a delicious steak dinner, the fun and frivolity continued with the grand march and karaoke!

Emily and Ben had such a classy wedding at Hamilton Twelve.  The very statuesque Emily was absolutely breathtaking in her gorgeous wedding dress, and Ben was dashingly handsome in his dress blues.  I think Emily had the happiest, cutest bridesmaids ever.  But the food!  Best. Chicken. Ever.  It was so good, we had to personally congratulate the chef.  After the unbelievable meal and the momentous cake cutting, they danced the night away with the help of Greenbelt DJ.

What can I say? Another fabulous wedding at Kindred Oaks! Kara and Ben have exquisite taste which was reflected in all the details of their vintage glam wedding, from Kara’s amazing dress, to the gorgeous flowers from Zuzu’s Petals, to the classic red corvette we just couldn’t stop taking pictures of!

We booked Heather and Dave’s wedding before we even met them.  Since Heather and Dave live in College Station, Heather’s parents came in to meet us for them.  Her parents liked us, and Heather trusted them, so we got the gig!   We did have a nice meeting in the studio with Heather and Dave before the wedding, though.  These people know how to party. They had a fabulous wedding at the Hills Lakeway Country Club with Flowers by Nancy, too! and amazing flipbooks by the Flipside, and best of all: an ice cream sundae bar instead of the traditional wedding cake!

Tanya and Phil were such a fun, lighthearted couple. They met while training in the martial art of Tukong Moosul. We had so much fun watching them spar during their engagement session, that we were hoping for a rematch at the wedding! But, alas, they didn’t think that would go over well in their tux and dress.

Their wedding was held at House on the Hill and went on beautifully besides the rain.  We were so impressed by Tanya, who planned all the details herself and even did the flowers.  She gave a lot of wedding coordinators a run for their money!  They had the most fantastic Chinese food from Din Ho and possibly the best dessert we have ever had at a wedding: banana pudding made by the groom.  I don’t even like banana pudding, but it was sublime beyond compare.  Of course Phil was sworn to secrecy by the master chef who shared his priceless recipe.  We need to have them over for dinner….

This absolutely breathtaking bride is the lovely Ashley, who is getting married to the very lucky Jordan at Texas Old Town. (Yesterday was the wedding, so we are retroactively activating this post!) We shot these beautiful bridal portraits at her future in-laws house in Flatonia, TX. Sunni with Puerta Bella Events was on hand to help with the portrait.  She is so cute and started to tear up when she saw Ashley in her dress for the first time. Sunni  has been doing a phenomenal job planning this wedding, and we look forward to working with her in the future.  Jordan’s family runs the Eddy Packing Company, and Ashley plans to surprise Jordan with the last picture at the wedding!

Ginny was a a bridesmaid in Emily’s wedding at the Salt Lick two years ago. When it came time for her and Scott to get married, she contacted us. We were excited about shooting our first wedding in Corpus Christi and our first wedding reception at an art museum.  Everything about this wedding was classy, from the lovely bride, to her custom designed dress, to the live band, to the Whatawedding drink koozie favors.  When you’re getting married in Corpus, you’ve got to include Whataburger somehow!  The South Texas Museum of Art turned out to be a very sophisticated reception venue, and the Corpus Christi Town Club did a amazing job with the catering.  Everyone enjoyed dancing to Corpus Christi’s own Flashback who were phenomenal.  And is that not the coolest groom’s cake you have ever seen?
