Green Pastures doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the old TV show, but has a lot of charm at this restaurant/wedding venue in South Austin. Renowned for their brunch, Green Pastures is one of my favorite places to shoot because of the food, the very friendly staff and the availability of many locations to have the ceremony or to photograph the bride and groom. The wedding venue sits on a few acres of land in South Austin and has been serving the Austin area unforgettable gourmet food in the old Victorian home since 1945. Not only do they offer sumptuous meals at the restaurant and offer the venue for weddings but Green Pastures can cater your event at another venue.
